The City of Inverness is the capital of the Highlands and makes an ideal base for touring the Highland area, with it’s many and varying attractions and magnificent scenery.

Inverness has excellent shopping, leisure and dining facilities all with in very easy reach of West End House. Close by is the river, where you can enjoy a lovely walk along the river and through the islands.

The Highlands area is also very well know for their excellent golfing facilities. There are three Golf Courses in Inverness and numerous ones in the surrounding area.

And of course we cannot forget Loch Ness and "Nessie". Loch Ness steeped in legend and mystery with it’s superb scenery is only a short drive away and can be enjoyed on land or on the water itself all 263,000 cubic feet of it.
